Alpha Composite Systems At Work

Past Projects
Kemira Water Solutions, Fontana, CA – This approx.. 8,000 sq.ft. tank farm houses some 15+ tanks ranging from 10-15’ diam, and 20’ high on concrete pads, and holding Chlorine and Heavy Caustic compounds. These concentrates can erode concrete over a short time and requires protective coatings. Also, the EPA (Environ. Protective Agency) requires a double containment storage system. There’s only a couple of coatings that can handle these chemistries at high processing temperatures. Alpha Composite Systems Inc. recommended a Novolac resin system, that helped them to win the contract. Alpha has also worked in the tank farm and production areas at Kemira’s Mojave facility for about 20 years.
Covid Labs , Irwindale, CA- Approx. 5,000 sq.ft. in multiple laboratory rooms. During the height of the Covid Pandemic, Alpha Composite Systems Inc. was called in to recommend a two coat concrete coating system with a clear topcoat. The concerns were: longevity, resilience to high foot traffic, resistance to color fading, and maintaining a high gloss finish.
Warehouse Unsealed Floors- This is a 1,500 sq.ft. warehouse/office facility. The client wanted to use part of the warehouse as an office. The existing concrete was not sealed, with dark oil stains, and spalls. Alpha Composite Systems prepped the concrete, patched the spalls, and polished the floor to a satin polished finish. Many offices, restaurants, and grocery stores are moving toward this concrete finish because of the cleanliness, ease of maintenance, and price point for installation.
Rodeo 39 Food Court and Markets – This 30,000 sq.ft. facility has multiple restaurants and shops, a new concept that is moving nationwide. Several of the restaurants required epoxy coatings, including the brewery. Alpha Composite Systems installed the epoxy on the bartop of the brewery service counters, restaurant and bathroom coatings, as well as the concrete polishing on the floors of this facility.
